The government funding received by childcare providers does not fully cover the cost of consumable items used during children’s sessions.

This contribution helps cover the cost of items such as:
• Healthy snacks and food experiences
• Arts, crafts and creative materials
• Cooking ingredients used in learning activities
• Hygiene products such as wipes, tissues and cleaning supplies
• Sun cream and similar everyday consumablesThis contribution is entirely voluntary.
Parents who choose not to contribute will still be able to access their child’s funded hours.
